Settled Waves
A Piece by Hind Aljabri
A wide river, her mind is.
A rush of a heavy fall of rain beating down its surface.
And a massive stream flows into that river.
You look at her, guess what you get? silence.
As if nothing is inside, really.
She is a settled wave,
and an enormous sea.
She is the violent storm,
and the bright clear sky after it.
